Fishing Charter: frequently asked questions
- Do I need fishing experience?
- No. Selected charters suit beginners, and the crew can help with equipment and basic technique. Which yachts carry fishing equipment is stated on the yacht page.
- Where will we fish?
- The captain selects the fishing area on the day, based on safety, sea conditions and fishing conditions. Possible areas include offshore grounds off Pattaya and Jomtien and the waters around Koh Khram, Koh Phai and Koh Rin.
- Is fishing equipment included?
- Rods, reels, basic tackle and bait are included on selected yachts and fishing packages. Specialist or professional equipment is not included unless your chosen package says so.
- Can you guarantee we catch fish?
- No. Fish catches cannot be guaranteed. Fishing conditions change day to day, which is why we describe the areas and equipment rather than promise a result.
- How long should a fishing charter be?
- Half-day and full-day options exist depending on the yacht and fishing programme. Reaching grounds further offshore normally needs a longer charter, and a longer charter may carry additional fuel cost.
- How do I book?
- Choose a yacht, send a request with your date, guest numbers and preferred duration, and our team confirms availability before any payment is taken.
