Marine conditions can change quickly and guest safety is always the priority.
Weather Assessment
Light rain, cloudy weather or normal seasonal conditions do not automatically result in cancellation or rescheduling.
The final decision regarding whether it is safe to operate will be made based on actual marine and weather conditions, applicable official warnings and the professional judgment of the captain/operator.
Captain's Safety Decision
The captain may:
- Modify the route
- Change the destination
- Delay departure
- Return to the marina early
- Restrict swimming or water activities
- Cancel or reschedule the charter when conditions are unsafe
Route Changes
Specific islands or destinations cannot be guaranteed when sea or weather conditions make them unsafe or unsuitable.
Where possible, the captain may select a safer alternative destination or route.
Unsafe Weather
If the yacht operator determines that the charter cannot safely operate due to severe weather or unsafe marine conditions, Yacht Today Thailand will contact the customer regarding available rescheduling or alternative arrangements.
Customer Weather Concerns
If the operator determines that conditions are safe to operate but the customer independently decides not to participate, this will generally be treated as a customer cancellation and the standard non-refundable policy will apply.
