No. Submitting a Request to Book does not confirm your charter. Our team first checks the yacht's availability and booking details. Once your request is approved, you can proceed to payment. Your booking is confirmed only after 100% payment has been successfully completed.

No. No payment is required when you submit your initial Request to Book. We check availability first. If your request is approved, you will be invited to complete payment.

What happens after my Request to Book is approved?

Once your request is approved, you'll receive access to secure checkout. Full 100% payment is required to confirm your booking. Your booking is confirmed only after payment has been successfully completed.

If your selected yacht is unavailable, our team will let you know and, where possible, suggest suitable alternative yachts, departure times, or dates.

Are the prices shown on the website final?

The charter price and applicable charges are shown or communicated during the booking process. Depending on your booking, additional charges may apply for VAT, marina or passenger fees, island or national park fees, additional fuel, extra hours, transportation, food, beverages, or optional add-ons. Please review the booking summary carefully before payment.

Is VAT included in the yacht charter price?

Where VAT is not included in the displayed charter price, this will be clearly indicated. Applicable VAT will be added during the booking process where required.

Can I change my booking after payment?

You may request changes to your confirmed booking, such as the date, departure time, duration, route, yacht, number of guests, or add-ons. Changes are subject to availability and approval. Additional charges may apply if the revised booking costs more.

Can I cancel my booking and receive a refund?

Confirmed bookings are non-refundable. If you choose to cancel after payment, the amount paid will not be refunded, except where otherwise expressly required by applicable law. Please review our Refund Policy and Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy before booking.

Can I reschedule my yacht charter?

You may request to reschedule your charter, but rescheduling is not guaranteed. Requests are subject to yacht availability, operator approval, the requested new date and time, and any applicable price difference.

What happens if it rains on the day of my charter?

Accepted Answer

Rain or cloudy weather does not automatically mean that your charter will be cancelled. A charter may still operate safely when sea and weather conditions are suitable. The captain and/or yacht operator will make the final operational decision based on safety conditions.

What happens if the weather is unsafe?

If the captain or yacht operator determines that conditions are unsafe, the charter may be delayed, modified, rerouted, or rescheduled to another available date where appropriate. Unsafe weather does not automatically result in a cash refund. Please see our Weather Policy for full details.

Can I cancel because my weather app shows rain?

A weather forecast showing rain does not automatically mean that the charter is unsafe. Customers should not assume their booking is cancelled unless Yacht Today Thailand or the relevant yacht operator confirms a change. If you choose not to attend while the charter can safely operate, this will be treated as a customer-initiated cancellation.

Can the captain change our route?

Yes. The captain has final authority regarding safe navigation and may change the route, destination, anchorage, or activities because of weather, sea conditions, marine restrictions, or other safety considerations.

Are life jackets available onboard?

Safety equipment, including appropriate life jackets or flotation devices, is provided or available in accordance with the requirements applicable to the yacht and activity. Guests must wear a life jacket whenever instructed by the captain or crew.

Yes, children can join eligible yacht charters, subject to the yacht's conditions and capacity. Children must remain under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or responsible adult. Additional safety requirements may apply depending on age, size, weather conditions, and activities.

Maximum guest capacity varies by yacht. Each yacht page shows the applicable guest capacity. The total number of guests must not exceed the yacht's permitted capacity.

Can we choose our own route or islands?

Available routes depend on the selected yacht, charter duration, weather and sea conditions, fuel requirements, and operational restrictions. You can select from available destinations during booking where offered. Final navigation and safety decisions remain with the captain.

Additional charter hours may be available depending on the yacht's schedule, crew availability, operating restrictions, and other bookings. Additional charges will apply. Please request extra time in advance whenever possible.

What happens if we arrive late?

Late arrival does not automatically extend your charter. The trip may still need to finish at the originally confirmed time due to marina requirements, crew schedules, operating restrictions, or subsequent bookings. Charter time lost because of customer late arrival is non-refundable.
